China park

Hey Gang,

Our last Sunday in China!  Woo hoo!

Seriously, it was a pretty good one.  We just goofed off all day.  We started off by walking up the block to Yuexiu Park.  I believe that translates to "Don't even try to pronounce it, ghost man."  Then we went on to Chen Clan Academy, which was quite beautiful.  It has a Wikipedia entry:

Then we made a diaper and Diet Coke run, had some shockingly good Mexican food and finally strolled in the "New City" section of Guangzhou.

It's getting really late, so I'll cut to the chase...

This is the park just up the hill from our hotel.  We're just below the Tropic of Cancer, so it never freezes here, allowing gardeners to landscape with what we use for houseplants.  Very exotic.
